Welcome to Napa Valley College's Placement Tool.
This tool will determine your placement into the Napa Valley College's mathematics and English sequences. You will be asked questions about courses you completed in high school as well as in college. You will be asked to supply course names, grades, and/or grade point average (GPA) information. To ensure the accuracy of your placement(s), it is important that the information provided is reflected on your high school transcript.
Important Note: This online tool has been developed to place NVC students into the mathematics and English sequences based on their high school coursework as well as NVC coursework. If you have already completed college coursework at another institution that you would like to be considered as part of your placement, you should meet with a NVC counselor to discuss your options.
